Game shuts down when trying to play

The game loads just fine, but if I try to go into the settings from the main screen, the game shuts down and kicks me out. The game will also shut down and kick me out if I try to go into any of my worlds. So basicly I can't play Minecraft at all until this issue gets reaalved.
