I CAN'T PLAY IT

When i am going to open my inventory in my not big minecraft server the game crashes. And it's so laggy. When I am going or flying the game crashes and if I'm not waiting in 10 sec and after that open the game it will crash. Please! I seriously want to play Minecraft. I play it with my friends. And it's the same problem for them. Help!
