Buckets not working well

What I expected to happen was...:
While in spit touch mode, I tried to collect water with a bucket

What actually happened was...:
Nothing happened. I wasn't able to collect water. This mighy happen with lava also. And I'm not able to empty a milk bucket but i can empty a water bucket and lava bucket

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select split touch controls from the options menu
2. Then have an empty bucket in your hand
3. Try to collect water (or possibly lava)
