Horses tamed prior to 1.2 don't display health (PC and Xbox)

Horses tamed prior to 1.2 update no longer display health. When you ride these horses, only my hunger is displayed. Happening to my coop partner playing on the xbox via crossplay. The horses tamed after the "Better Together" Updated display health as normal.
