/gamerule commandBlockOutput Crashing

I used the command,
gamerule commandBlockOutput false
in a Command Block, and after pressing a button to activate it, the game will freeze and crash approximately 15-30 seconds later.

EDIT: The game does not recognize the capital letters in the command, therefore relating this issue to MCPE-24787
