The End is extremely laggy and The Enderdragon just disappeared randomly

So I went to the end and the fist sign was there was a portal in the middle ,I thought it was just no biggie and i was fighting the ender dragon with my sister in split screen getting some dragons breath when suddenly it just disappeared for no reason no health bar no nothing not even the portal and egg also while I was fighting the ended dragon it was going through the end stone
