Nether is messing things up

Every time I transfer my Xbox edition world into the new minecraft I have a problem with the nether. The first time I enter the nether, my blaze spawner seems completely fine. Then I return to my overworld to find that the last thing I did was not saved there and when I return to the nether my blaze spawner is completely empty(no spinning blaze inside of it) and all that's around is a ghast yelling at me the whole time which would never happen in console edition. I've tried resetting the world several times but it keeps consistently doing the same thing.
