Keyboard controls broken

Keyboard controls are broken, when I plug in a keyboard and launch the game, a black screen comes up and then a trail of pointers follows my cursor, I can still click on stuff, but I can't see what i'm clicking on. Even after I close the game and unplug my keyboard it still thinks I have one plugged in. Only fix I know is a hard reset. But you still can't plug it in, or else said problem will happen.
