Everytime I try to sync my old worlds and bring them to Minecraft, the game crashes.

Whenever I launch the game and try to sync my old worlds the game crashes. It tries to convert my 4.1 MB world and then it doesn't give me and error message it just quits the game. It will randomly do this when I am just playing on the world as well.
