Crashes since last update on iPad mini 1

Since the update on 21/9 I cannot play minecraft. After I launch world and try to do anything it crashes out the game. I tried creating new worlds and does the same. I have even deleted and reinstalled minecraft but same. Please advise as this is my favourite game and I play it all the time.
