i cant play becouse i cant make stone from cobblestone

I have a problem, on win 10, 1.2 (bedrock edition), I cant build a furnace or a stone pickaxe with cobblestone, the recipe shows stone, and I cant get stone becouse I cant make a furnace to burn the cobblestone.... I cant play it!!!!
