Crafting fireworks creates the same fireworks, but they separate into different stacks and cannot be joined

I tried crafting basic fireworks with gunpowder and paper, in creative mode. When I crafted them, every couple taps, the fireworks would go to a new slot. I couldn't coalesce the fireworks together. But when so reload med the world, I was able to coalesce them
