It won't let me play the game when I'm connected to the internet and because of that I can't play with friends.

When I'm connected to the internet it won't let me play My game just freezes up and sets there with a white screen but when I turn the internet off it lets me play this is a problem because I want to play with friends and I can't because I have to be connected to the internet.
