Opon Entering Creative World, The Creative Menu Is Empty

I was playing on the servers and then decided to play offline. I loaded up a creative world that I. first created in the beta. Upon entering the world, I went to get a block out of the creative inventory to discover that there were no items in any of the menus. I re-entered the world to discover that the same phenominon had occured.
