Minecraft 1.2.0.22 on android freezes when clicking play

When I open Minecraft 1.2.0.22 on my device (Allview Viva C701 Tablet) and I click "Play" the game freezes and my device shows an error message saying that Minecraft isn't responding. I hope this is going to be fixed because I cannot play Minecraft. Also my operating system is Android 5.1.1! Also unfortunately I cannot attach any video to show this because the video I recorded is too big.
