Game Lag

Game Lag increases when difficulty is easy, normal, or hard. Fps went from 50 in peaceful mode to an unplayable 19 or so just by switching the difficulty. Seems that hostile mobs are the root of the problem. Inventory + recipe book keeps lagging the game.
