My command block doesn`t work when I write the right commands

I have my command block, Then I search for legal commands, Then I paste them in the commandblock I click always active, I click ok for start, and does nothing. A lot of peolple do the same as me and it works with them. Thank you Mojang I know you always can fix, and makes us have fun. MY VERSION IS 1.12
