Can't eat food(in this case mushroom stew)

I'm not able to eat mushroom stew. All I do is act like I'm going to break a block with it. I'm unsure if this is with all foods but definitely with mushroom stew. Sorry if this is a duplicate because I know you've been getting a lot lately.
