Ender Dragon Egg Issue (Please Fix by the next update)

Whenever the Ender Dragon died, it drops it's egg, but the torch method is broken and please fix this bug. (The torch method is you hit the egg and dig down 2 blocks underneath the egg and break the block on top (with the egg on top) and let it drop on top of the torch but with this bug it broken and support to break the block form but it broken. And into a item form but it broken (doesn't not work correctly).) So the other method still work correctly and but this method is cheaper then other one.
