Mcpe freezes when I go into the worlds, friends, and servers tab.

On my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (SM-T350), when I open Minecraft and press play, it freezes up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the games folder, and the bug still wasn't fixed. I am unable to play my worlds because I downgraded my version back to 1.1.5 so I wouldn't have to go through the freezes and crashes just to switch between worlds or change a setting for the world that I don't like that I can't change in game. This happens every time I go to the world/server select, even when I just exit a world or server. Also, I caught another bug in the video when I left the server. The game crashed, unlike a world would crash. This could be related to the problem that I'm having right now.
