The game is so laggy and I can't open the chat

I play mcpe always on my phone (Lenovo A6000) without any problem but after I updated the app today and created a new world to see the differences i couldn't walk 5 blocks without lagging and then I opened the chat to go to creative mode but the game crashed and I tried several times to open the chat but it always seems to crash
