Disappearing shulker box

I tap on a shulker box, to open it, and it just disappears and there is no way to get it back. Dew to this bug, I have lost 4 shulker boxes and all of them had lots of goodies in them. The bug makes me not want to play Minecraft in fear that I will loose more things. PLEASE FIX!!
