Inventory slot not highlighted on hover wiht resource pack

When using a resource pack, the inventory slots don't get highlighted when hovering them.
I've tried that with the Stone Age Pack.

It's very annoying when playing with controller, because it's not possible
to see wich slot is currently selected.
