Wont let me leave screen after trying to change gamemode or worldtype

Whenever i try to create a world if i go and try to change the gamemode or worldtype the popup the comes up wont close and i cant change any other setting while the popup is open , the only way i can start a game is to close minecraft pocket edition and open it back up and create world without touching the gamemode or worldtype.This only started happening after i updated to the newest version...
