"You must be connected to wifi to play with your friends" message appears when connecting to Minecraft on a pc running Windows 10 hosted on my LAN

After updating Minecraft on my Windows 10 PC from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3, I am no longer able to connect from my iPhone that's also running Minecraft 1.1.3. Also, if I hardcode the PC as a server, the following message appears on my iPhone: "You must be connected to Wifi to play with your friends."

iPods on the same LAN aren't able to see each other on the Friends tab.
