I lost all of my stuff

When i got back from the mining trip i put all of my stuff in the chest and then i saved and quited the game.while i was quiting game crashed and all of my stuff were gone and all restarted (it was like i didn't go to the mining at all.please can you fix that and can i get back my stuff
