Magma blocks not rendered/loaded properly in nether - tile.213.name

I noticed some strange looking blocks in the nether, and when I approached them I noticed they were just a plain block with green writing saying 'update'. When I harvest the block, it is listed as 'tile.213.name' in my inventory. From looking at the block list, this should be magma.
