Newest update causes controller problems

I just recently updated the game and my controller which worked just prior to the update now is no longer a viable play option. My controller is a Gamesir S4. The issue is with the joysticks. When used, in game direction continues even after I stop using the joystick. As you can figure out, this makes aiming near impossible. Sometimes I have been caught in an endless turning loop.
