twitches and lags

I updated minecraft on the 02/06/2017 and it's the version that has the llamas and new beds and other new features in it. Now I am finding that minecraft is lagging, twitching and crashing on me when I play. Building with blocks and other features I find when you can't use properly as of when you click on something it shows you have placed it on something but then disappears. Please fix this I enjoy using minecraft but It's starting to annoy me with the twitches and lagging.
