So I have been playing the new 1.1 update but what i notice is the every time I go in my chat for more than 10 sec, my minecraft completely freezes my minecraft

Im in a server (LifeBoat) and I wanted to check the chat for who was left in the game and my minecraft literally froze and I had to restart my minecraft.
