My controller does not work on mcpe

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy J7 with a Ps4 controller connected via otg cable to play. Other games work with the controller, but Minecraft doesn't work. Before the updates I used to play with a ps3 one and it worked fine, but with the ps4, I can only move around and that's it. I'm I'm 1.1.0
