Spruce leafs destroys pistons when the tree is growing.

When construction an automatic universal tree farm with a growing space of 5 x 5 blocks I have noticed that spruce "leafs" are destroying the pistons on same occasions. This will happen for me maybe one of 3 times when the tree is grown with bone meal.
