Cannot join realms

After the mcpe update v 1.0.8.1, whenever i try to join the realms it either says disconnected from server or unable to connect to the world. Although i read the post of minecraft : xbox editionon the xbox app saying that the realms were currently down, now i think they are fine and some of my friends are actually playing on the server, or atleast it shows how many people are online on the realms. Now I talked to the realms owner recently and he said that others are saying that their game is crashing when they come near my base which is in the mesa where I recently built a 4x4 piston door, idk if that has anything to do with it but its been almost 4 days now since the post on the xbox app and my realms isn't opening. I play on an iPhone 6 IOS v 10.3.1 and I have tried playing on both cellular data and wifi but it doesn't open either way. Please Help ;(
