I have the most up to date version of the game and I can't access my realm because the game says it needs to be updated.

As previously stated, I have the most up to date version of Minecraft Pocket Edition on my Galaxy S7 and I can't access my realm because the game says it needs to be updated.

I saw an online forum discussing this exact issue going back to December 2016. Someone even opened a ticket with no resolution, so I hope someone gets on this.

If this issue isn't resolved soon I will be cancelling my Realms subscription.
