'Beam Me Up' Ender pearl achievement not working

Attempted to gain ender pearl achievement on all applicable versions, doesn't succeed. Confirmed that pearl thrown 100+ blocks horizontally, last test 132 blocks without success.

Tested from Y=257.5 to Y=74.5, platform as discussed above, network status verified as online.
