Keyboard and Mouse support does NOT work!

When I connect my keyboard and mouse to my ipad mini 2, I can go into chat and type anything but I cannot move, look around, or open options. I know that they are plugged in because they both have LED lights that light up whenever they are connected and working. Plus! My keyboard can still type in chat!
