[MCPE-204] Abrupt biome endings

Occasionally there will be abrupt biome endings followed by a narrow strip of plain land near the edge of the world. See the image for clarification.

I didn't use a seed. But I have actually seen that same thing on a bunch of worlds. If you try generating a couple random ones you're bound to see it.

I've seen this before fairly often, seems to be an off-by-one error when determining which chunks are in a biome.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Aren't Minecraft PE chunks a smaller volume than PC ones too? Anyone know how big PE chunks are?

I see this often. As John mentioned, it's relatively easy to find. Follow the edge of a biome, and there's a good chance it will go in a straight line for 20 to 30 plus blocks.

Using v0.6.1
