Horses Stuck in Boats

Exactly the same issue as the closed and "resolved" MC-89963
Horse hitbox is larger than the boat. Horse will eventually get stuck in the boat when dragging on a leash after the boat (did take awhile). Boat nearly impossible to break without killing the horse. I was actually only able to hit the boat successfully once from beneath before the horse died.
Encountered on Survival Hard Mode, cheats disabled.
