When on Chat Screen,can't hear any sounds from rains,thunder and mobs

When in Chat Screen we can't hear any sounds of entities,rain, and thunders

How?
1.Open Chat Screen.
2.Type /weather rain.
3.Exit Chat Screen.
4.If now raining open again the chat screen.
5.Hear the sounds of rain.
There's no sound right.
