Bluetooth controller disconnects after trading with villager

Upon finishing a trade with a villager my bluetooth gaming controller disconnects. I'm using a MOGA pro powered gaming controller. (picture provided). Everything else seems to work fine, there is just a connectivity issue upon finishing trading. i believe this could be due to the new features needing controller support.

Im on android 4.4.4 and the type of phone im using is a samsung galaxy prevail LTE
