Unable to fish and shoot an arrow.

When I joined a friend's world, sometimes I can't shoot at anything with my bow, including all kinds of mobs and player, the arrow just went right through them and fell down. Also, I can't fish with my fishing pole, it just went back right after I released it. I have to ask my friend to disable the "multiplayer" button, enable it again, and then I log into that world again. But after a while, the same things happened again.
