Diving with Elytra causes glitch

I teleported to 512 blocks in survival with the new Elytra. Then I started to dive. Then I suddenly stopped flying (while in the sky), and when I tried to move, it was like I was circling myself.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set the camera to 3rd person
2. Teleport to block 512 with /tp ~ 512 ~
3. Start diving (if that does not work, try gliding a bit while diving)
4. Experience the bug.

I think this bug might me related to the one in the PC version. I think the game might stop like that with the Elytra because it is trying to catch up and the Elytra goes too fast. Well, I am not the expert. Hopefully I have given you enough info to fix it.

Note: My iPod Touch is running iOS 10.2
