Map, paintings & item frames not displayed properly

Walking away from paintings and item frames makes them more and more invisible. First thin missing lines, then fat ones, and in the end you can't see them at all. You have to be near them. Same goes for the map, kinda, but in reverse. You can't see a thing when you use it, and when you walk around, you can slightly see it. Looks like static. It's basically useless.
