Realm Reverted

A realm that I play on has been reverted to its previous world. After talking to the owner there have been no backups since the 28th of December, with the backups since the 28th having disappeared. I assume it is no coincidence that the 28th was the day the subscription was renewed. All the posts in the realm's story feed since the 28th remain intact so I am assuming the world files glitched on a server somewhere.
