Profile picture changes on Xbox aren’t syncing to player profile in-game

In recent Minecraft versions, it’s appeared that when you change your profile picture on Xbox app, the new profile picture doesn’t appear in-game with your player profile, and instead, your old profile picture still shows.

 

To reproduce:

1. Use the Xbox app and change your profile picture, more specifically to a custom one
2. Launch Minecraft 
3. Press on the Profile button in the main menu

 

Observed Results:

The new profile picture you changed to on Xbox app doesn’t show, and instead your old profile picture is seen

 

Expected Results:

Your new profile picture should show in-game with your player profile after changing to it on Xbox app

 

Additional note: This issue appears to be most prevalent on IOS, Windows, and possibly Android in the latest Minecraft versions (1.21.50+). I can’t pinpoint which version the issue may have started with but 1.21.0 and below the issue is non-existent confirming it started with a game update.
