"Failed to start game" with no error code shown when attempting to launch bedrock edition through launcher.

This is a frustating bug, I cannot find out how to fix it nor what causes it, as there is no error code.  This happens usually when leaving the game untouched for a seemingly short period.  When trying to open it out of the launcher it sends me to the microsoft store, specfically the updates page.  The game is not shown at all.
