Continuously drowning and the world not loading while in multiplayer cross-play.

While playing cross-play with my friend who owns a switch, I try to play in her world. Whenever I go into her server, I drown while still on land and lose everything. I checked both of our networks to see if there was an issue with the network, but everything worked fine in that department. This issue has been happening since September of 2023.
