Terrible file saving
For years I have had a world on Minecraft Bedrock here on my windows 10 pc, I have been building in it for years and days and days and days of non stop work on it. This world means everything to me after the dedication I have put into it. I was having problems with the Minecraft launcher not working and I decided to delete Minecraft from my computer and redownload it in hopes the launcher would work again. The launcher worked, but when I pressed that single player button to join my world, it was gone. My world was gone. I tried to look into my files and nothing. I don't understand how all of my Minecraft Java files were still on my computer but not my Bedrock worlds? This makes absolutely no sense??? Why in the hell does Bedrock not have the same file saving mechanisms that Java has? After years of all my hard work its now gone and I have no way of getting it back because for some reason Bedrock doesn't save files the way Java does. This is complete bs, I am pissed off at the fact that I wasted so much time just for it to be ruined by a stupid launcher that didn't want to work. I looked up so many ways to get it back, asked questions, researched, and I have seen many different ways, but what I have seen the most is "without a backup, there is nothing to do." That just blows my mind that is crazy in every way. I never backup my Java worlds and they are still here perfectly fine. But for Bedrock I have to backup my world??? This is unfair and it makes no sense for my computer to completely get rid of the file from my computer. This is what's wrong with Minecraft Bedrock, it is stupidly unfair. I want my world back, there is no way that it is just gone like that. I refuse to believe it.
