Bug on achievement progress

I have downloaded minecraft in the play store application. then played Minecraft and logged in to a new Xbox account, but when I played in survival mode and didn't activate cheats, all the achievements I made didn't progress. I have done various things but my progress is still not working. I don't know if other players feel the same way but I think this is a bug. It feels less exciting to play Minecraft without completing achievements. Thank You
