Switch Version keeps crashing after latest update

I came back to minecraft to check out the new updated but for some reason, after creating a new world, the game constantly crashes before the game can auto save. The only thing that doesn't crash the game pre-auto-save is just standing still. At most, I can only play for 10 minutes before the game quits on me. I've tried deleting and redownloading, checking for corruption, restarting my switch, and going offline. Nothing I do is working and stopping it from crashing. I've tried everything that I can find online. Please, if anyone knows what's happening, I would like to know as well. I thought that it was the new event because the game would crash upon joining the new event but now that's over and it's still crashing.
